Parking
Complimentary valet parking is included with your ticket and is located on Locust Street under the portico of the State Historical Building. This entrance is wheelchair accessible.

Coat Check
Once you enter the building you'll be directed to registration and coat check. We recommend VIP guests leave their coat on for the VIP reception, which will be on the third floor terrace. A coat check for VIPs will be available on the third floor, and coats will be taken down to the first floor entrance for you to easily pick up your coat as you leave the event.
VIP Reception
The VIP Reception from 6 - 7 p.m. will be hosted in the Cafe & Cafe Terrace on the third floor of the building with the best view of the Iowa Capitol. Outside on the terrace you'll experience music by Emma Butterworth and enjoy a complimentary cocktail from Mississippi River Distilling Co., mulled wine from Jasper Winery and exclusive beers/canned cocktails from Doll Distributing. We will have heaters, but we recommend keeping your coat on for this hour. At 7 p.m. guests will be directed to the atrium for the main event.
